Clean the door strike plate
With the oven fully cool and the breaker off, wipe the latch strike plate at the top of the oven frame with a degreaser cloth. Grease accumulation is a frequent cause of blocked latch travel on Dacor Heritage (HWO) and Modernist (DOB/DOP) wall ovens.
Use a toothbrush to clear grease from inside the strike slot.

Power cycle and retry self-clean
Turn off the circuit breaker for 5 minutes, then restore power. Attempt to start self-clean once more. If F5 does not appear and the latch engages fully, a transient motor fault was the cause.
